but we did not go near it, for fear of disturbing Mama Goose

A Canada Goose chose to nest in an abandoned Hawk's Nest!!!

Not a good photo... but it does show how high
off the ground Mother Goose was nesting!
She was definitely safe from foxes & coyotes up there
and had a real "bird's eye view" of the area!!!
